The Matz Broz have been playing music in and around the Northern Illinois region individually or collectively for years now. Our repertoire consists of rockers, pop, blues, soul, R&B, reggae and folk/country sounds from the 50’s thru current, more often than not adding our own spins on the material. Add to that a sampling of our diverse original material, featured on 2 CD Releases, "Matter Of Time" and "Adventures in Idiocy". Catching a set or 2 of a Matz Broz session is sure to get you reliving those familiar tunes and finding some new ones as well. The band consists of Richard on guitars/vox, Rob on the bass/vox and David on the drums/vox and percussion. We’re often joined by other personnel as well, depending on the event and can also be found in playing solo or in various off-shoot projects in and around the Chicago and Northern Illinois area.
